Unwind, catch up, or pause in your tour for a night, a week or longer in our high quality, four star self-catering cottages. Enjoy the log fires, central heating, have a cuppa while you browse through our books or just enjoy the views and the peaceful atmosphere. Chat to Sarah who will help you find the information you are seeking. You are free to wander in the garden, explore the farm lanes, make use of the timber trail and sand pit for children, pop into Derry City, see the Sperrins and Banagher Glen, dream in Donegal and visit Finn McCool's Giants Causeway, then return when you will. In 1796 a round ended Georgian front was added to the house, offering magnificent views down a wooded valley to Benbraddagh, across to Mullaghhash and up our tiny glen to Mullaghmeash.
Ireland is a multi-facetted wonderland. Every mile curves to reveal a different view. We are not alone in our belief that the outstanding diadem of Ireland is the North/ Northwest. There is so much to do, so much to see - sea, sand, rivers, hills, farms, towns, villages - all can be found within an hour from Drumcovitt. The Giants Causeway, pubs, folk music, golf, the ancient walled City of Derry, bird watching, genealogy, archaeology, hill walking, surfing, gliding, relaxing, clean air, even the rain!!!
View from front door. View of the garden and Drumcovitt House from the garden.
Please take time to explore our website, we hope that it encourages you to come and see
us some time whether you want a romantic break, a base for
your family holiday or simply to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside! The maximum number of guests that we can accommodate in the self catering cottages is 15.
